I am so excited for this blog post! I have worked with videographers for years, but it wasn’t until Covid hit that I truly understood the importance of adding video to your elopement day. Whether you’re eloping because it feels right or because you have to downsize your guest list due to Covid, there are bound to be some very special people that aren’t present. I have personally had family members reach out to me to thank me for the videos, and that’s when I knew I made the right choice to add a videographer to my team.

I’m going to get a little sentimental here. I showed my mom one of the first videos Todd filmed for Hazel & Lace, and she cried. Through tears, she said “I wish I had a video like this of me and your dad.” And then I started crying because I wish they had that video too. Once again, reaffirming that video is 100% the right thing to offer. And bringing up the important point that these videos are priceless to our families.
