Where do I even start? Shooting Haley and Luke’s San Diego elopement has been one of the highlights of my year, by far! Haley contacted me and started telling me all about her vision for her San Diego elopement. She basically googled “getting married on a cliff,” and found Sunset Cliffs in San Diego, and decided that was the perfect place for her and Luke to get married. And then she somehow found me on instagram and invited me to come along! I was SO excited!

This was my first time in San Diego and I officially fell in love with this city and with Haley and Luke. They had also never traveled to San Diego before, so I think we were all just so excited and giddy to be climbing all over these cliffs after they had exchanged their vows. It ended up being the perfect afternoon, and I am so excited to share this sweet elopement with all of you.

How did you two meet?

We met through a mutual friend. She and he went to Reinhardt University and I would come up to visit quite often. She told me we seemed perfect together and set us up on a blind double date with her and her boyfriend. We went bowling and ended the night with a bottle of red wine and I swear we fell in love that night. Love at first sip! 🙂

Tell me your proposal story!

Not much to it… he actually proposed to me in our garage! We had a Disney trip planned and were leaving 3 days later but he picked up the ring that day and just couldn’t hold on to it any longer. It was around 10pm and we were headed to McDonalds to get a quick bite and he popped the question right there!

What are your favorite things to do together?

We love to eat!!!! We love to watch new Netflix shows together and we love to be lazy home bodies. We’re also very casual drinkers so anytime we can go sit on a patio somewhere and enjoy each others company with beers in hand, its a good day in our book!
