Baylee and Griffith’s Steamboat Springs Colorado wedding was planned in only four months so they could take advantage of the beautiful fall weather at a private ranch. Every detail was DIY, from the ceremony site to the cocktail bar in a horse trailer. Griffith is a fly fishing guide, so he incorporated fishing with his groomsmen before the ceremony, as well as unique boutonnieres of fishing lures. Baylee was a stunning bride that opted for a lace dress and non-traditional bouquets for her boho bridal party. They exchanged private vows at sunset after the ceremony before heading up to the barn and having their first dance and reception.
Here’s some info from the gorgeous Baylee herself:
“Griffith and I have known each other for quite some time now. We met in the sixth grade at our middle school in Dallas, Tx. A few months into the school year he asked me to be his “girlfriend”. We would text mostly because talking to each other in person was too nerve wracking for a 12 year old! One night he asked me to go to the White Rock Skating Rink with him and his friends. While we were at the rink, we experienced some major peer pressure to have our first kiss. We both had our first kiss and to this day it’s still one of the funniest stories we have. A month later we broke up due to him moving middle schools. When high school came around we weren’t very close friends but still friendly. We had mutual friends but were in different friend groups.
