This blog post has been a long time coming! Danielle and Cameron’s Barn at Raccoon Creek wedding was the epitome of a good time. These two lovebirds have been best friends since eighth grade and have an amazing group of friends that danced the night away. Seriously, we all had so much fun at this wedding. And then I have to mention how beautiful Danielle looked in her Rue de Seine wedding dress. It was a jaw dropper.
And now for some Q&A from the gorgeous Danielle:
How did you and your significant other first meet?
We first met in 8th grade in Mrs. Dutcher’s class! We’ve been best friends ever since.
Tell me your proposal story!
We had been together for almost 10 years, so it was definitely time. We’d gone ring shopping a few weeks prior and Cameron popped the question in our living room – he just couldn’t wait!
What are your favorite things to do together?
Hiking, obsessing over our dog, Nixon, watching Netflix shows, camping, traveling and eating at all the amazing restaurants in Denver. We love to explore and adventure just as much as we love to relax and catch up on our favorite shows (while eating take-out of course).
Why did you decide to get married in Colorado?
Because it’s beautiful! Who wouldn’t wanna get married on Colorado? Also, a lot of our family isn’t from Colorado, so we wanted them to experience this amazing state (some came for the first time!).
What was your favorite thing about your wedding day?
THE DANCING! Our dream for our big day was for everyone to have fun and dance, and that definitely happened. We had so much fun on the dance floor with our closest family and friends. Best night ever!
What advice do you have for other couples that are planning their wedding?
Don’t stress too much, because it somehow all comes together. Looking back at the pictures I’m like, “Wow, everything truly came together perfectly!” Also don’t sweat the small stuff. Something will go wrong, but that’s okay. Try to laugh it off! And at the end of the day, have as much fun as possible. Relax, have some drinks, embrace the love, and have fun!
