Kelsey and Aaron traveled from Albuquerque, New Mexico to Mount Shasta, California to get married in one of their favorite places. They planned an elopement that involved their closest friends and family, heartfelt vows, a handfasting ceremony, yummy desserts, champagne, a first dance, and lots of time to explore the gorgeous Castle Lake and surrounding mountains. When asked why they chose Mount Shasta, Kelsey replied “We took a trip to Mt. Shasta in September of 2016 with Aaron’s dad Josh who was going to climb Mt. Shasta. Aaron is also part Shasta Indian so we were especially excited to explore. We came across Castle Lake while looking for things to do and we fell in love with it.”
It’s always special when a couple invites me to go somewhere I’ve never been before. Northern California is stunning, and Mount Shasta is definitely a place I’ll never forget thanks to Kelsey and Aaron!
