Diana and Danny currently live in Colorado, but their love for New Mexico encouraged them to plan their intimate wedding day at Ghost Ranch in Abiquiu, New Mexico. Surrounded by red rocks, adobe buildings, and friends and family, they exchanged vows in the state where they first met each other. It was an amazing day full of love.

Here’s some Q&A from the beautiful Diana…

How did you and Danny first meet?

We met at a summer geophysics field camp in Santa Fe, NM. At the end of the program we both went and did field work together around Northern New Mexico and really hit it off! After that Danny went home to Colorado and I went back to Michigan. We kept in touch and about three months later, Danny came to visit in Michigan and we have been together ever since.

How did Danny propose?

We went camping at one of our favorite spots in Northern New Mexico over Memorial Day weekend. We went for a hike up to a local mountain, and he proposed at the top of the mountain. He did a great job of keeping it a secret from me, and I was very surprised!

What do you love to do together? 

We love camping and hiking in the summer and skiing in the winter.
