Whitney and James were on vacation from Florida and decided to have their engagement photos taken here in Colorado! I love couples that decide they want to do something adventurous for their photos! I picked these two sweethearts up in Boulder and we had a blast exploring Lost Gulch Lookout, which is quickly becoming one of my favorite places for photos. I think the photos came out amazing! And can we all just stop for a minute and appreciate how amazing Whitney’s hair is. Seriously, this girl’s hair is GORGEOUS!

Ok, enough with the hair envy, now for some words from the lovely bride-to-be herself…

How did your fiance propose?

James and I love going to downtown Tampa to see the old theater and small restaurants, and the river walk at night has really pretty lights that light up the river. One night after a particularly bad day at work we went downtown and had dinner at this really nice french restaurant. Afterwards we walked along the river walk to the sail pavilion and had drinks and talked for a few hours. Then as we walked back down the river walk, he stopped me and asked me to marry him! He said he was late getting home from work a few nights beforehand because he went and asked my parents for their permission.

What are you most looking forward to when it comes to getting married?

I’m looking forward to having my best friend by my side for whatever life has in store for us, good or bad!
